What you are buying
- Since 1946. Charlie Wohlford started making boots on the east side of Vancouver because loggers kept telling him the ones they had were no good.
- Over 230 steps. Every pair goes through them. We have not found a shortcut worth taking.
- Goodyear welted. The sole is stitched, not glued. When it wears out we take it off and put a new one on.
- Full grain leather, steel shank, leather insole and midsole. No cardboard. Ever.
- Limited lifetime warranty, and a repair shop that is still ours.
One thing worth knowing before you order
Dayton sizes run like UK sizes, so they come up large. If you wear a men's 9 sneaker, order a Dayton 8. Women, go about three sizes down. If you would rather have someone talk you through it, start on the sizing page and book a free fifteen-minute fit call.
