If you’ve ambled past the store, you may have noticed major changes are afoot inside the Neon Boot.
Behind the glass brews a REVOLUTION of sorts – like-minded independent brands like ours are banding together to create a very unique experience on the Vancity landscape at large and our East Van neighbourhood.
The new DAYTON BOOT FACTORY is a place designed to be a shopping experience that’s 180 degrees from an item being picked by a robot arm in a warehouse bigger than a football field.
There’s boots of course… but also coffee served out of a vintage trailer, a barbershop, iconic motorcycle "mayhem-sters" Lords of Gastown, Ironhead apparel (back after a 10 year hiatus), Murfitt Custom Guitars and a pending reprisal of the century old Lumberman's Social Club. We’ve got big plans, man – BIG plans.
It all starts NOVEMBER 21 with a soft launch, a loud band and a cold beverage or two… and we’d LOVE to see you there.
Is it a launch party for the little guys or a funeral for the big guys? That’s up to you.
Art, music, fashion, moto-culture, caffeine, even beer on occasion – the new DBF is a passion project of so many great artisans representing the indie spirit of this city and a step towards changing what East Hastings means.
