Shipping

In-stock pairs usually leave our East Vancouver workshop within one business day. Made-to-order pairs are built to order and take 14 to 20 weeks.

Rates

Canada and the United States — free shipping on orders over $299. Below that, Canadian rates start at $9.95 and rise with weight; a boxed pair of boots is $24.95. Live Canada Post and DHL rates are also offered at checkout.

Everywhere else — from $39.95 for a light parcel, $95 for a boxed pair, or $170 for a five-business-day courier. We ship regularly to the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Import duty, VAT and customs charges

Your order ships from Canada. We do not collect import duty or foreign sales taxes at checkout, and the price you pay us does not include them. If your country charges them, the carrier will collect them from you before delivery, usually with a handling fee of their own on top.

United States — import duty applies to footwear and is collected on delivery. Our Black Beauty and Whole-cut Chelsea are made in Mexico; our other boots are made in Canada, and the two are treated differently at the border.

United Kingdom and European Union — VAT is charged on import, typically 15% to 22% depending on the country, and couriers add a handling fee for collecting it. Both are payable before your parcel is released.

Japan, Australia and New Zealand — consumption tax or GST may be charged on import, payable on delivery.

We declare every parcel accurately, with its country of manufacture and tariff code, so that you are charged what you actually owe and no more. If you would like an estimate before you order, email us and we will tell you what we can.

Returns

See our refund policy. Returns must be sent by your national postal service and marked "CANADIAN GOODS RETURNED", not by a commercial courier — a courier will bill us brokerage fees we do not pay, and your parcel may be refused.
